Part I Architectural Assistant

Vanika has joined Hutchinson & Partners in 2026 as a Part I Architectural Assistant, undertaking a six-month integrated placement during her third year at the University of Bath.

Her academic work has explored how architecture shapes atmosphere and experience, with a particular interest in material expression and the relationship between buildings and their wider context. Prior to joining the practice, she gained experience at Envoplan, contributing to educational interior projects and developing a strong appreciation for detail and user-focused design.

Vanika is keen to build on this foundation by working on larger-scale residential and mixed-use developments, expanding her understanding of how architecture operates across both intimate and urban scales.

Vanika ist 2026 als Part I Architectural Assistant zu Hutchinson & Partners gekommen und absolviert während ihres dritten Studienjahres an der University of Bath ein sechsmonatiges integriertes Praktikum.

In ihrer akademischen Arbeit hat sie sich mit der Frage beschäftigt, wie Architektur Atmosphäre und Erlebnis prägt, wobei ihr besonderes Interesse der materiellen Ausdruckskraft und der Beziehung zwischen Gebäuden und ihrem weiteren Kontext galt. Bevor sie zu Hutchinson & Partners kam, sammelte sie Erfahrungen bei Envoplan, wo sie an Innenausstattungsprojekten für Bildungseinrichtungen mitarbeitete und ein ausgeprägtes Gespür für Details und nutzerorientiertes Design entwickelte.

Vanika möchte auf dieser Grundlage aufbauen, indem sie an größeren Wohn- und Mischnutzungsprojekten arbeitet und ihr Verständnis dafür erweitert, wie Architektur sowohl im kleinen als auch im großen Maßstab funktioniert.
