We believe that architects have a pivotal role to play in helping society, humanity and the planet. We have in-house teams for Sustainability and Equality Diversity & Inclusion to ensure we operate, practice and design to the very best of our abilities and to ensure we remain literate and that our voice of advocacy is heard.
Our in-house team for Sustainability has led to the practice minimising our operational energy, consistently achieving close to net zero. The team have also informed our evolving approach to designing sustainably through their research into products, software, tools and education. The sharing of knowledge and information between our London and Berlin teams also provides us with a wider perspective and understanding on issues, discussions, research and resources.
We are ISO 14001 Certified for Environmental Management, assignees of UK Architects Declare, and adopters of the RIBA 2030 Climate Challenge.
In addition to regulating our own processes, our in-house team for Equality, Diversity, Inclusion outreach to the local community and schools with the aim of increasing the awareness and understanding of architecture and the built environment and to make the profession more visible and accessible to young people from all backgrounds who might not otherwise have considered a career in architecture.
We also undertake not for profit and pro-bono work for charities and organisations. These have included the social-mobility charity, Making The Leap, St. Joseph's Hospice and Belleville school.
